$IMG
The consumable that keeps OrePit running. Rigs decay every week. $IMG is what you burn to stop them dying — and burning it is all it does.
status: no contract yet
A token you spend, not one you hold
OrePit is a mine on Arc. You earn a rig by trading on okei.fun, and the rig pays you $ORE for as long as it is in good condition. Condition falls every week whether you touch it or not.
Repairing it burns $IMG. Combining five rigs into a bigger one burns $IMG. There is no third use, no staking, and no way to get any of it back — every unit spent inside OrePit goes to the dead address and stops existing.
A token you must buy to get in is an entry ticket. A token you burn to keep something running is a consumable. Only one of those has to argue it is not an investment.
the sink
Where every unit goes
Both sinks are a transfer to 0x…dEaD, not a call to a burn function. That is deliberate: it means the total ever destroyed is just that address’s balance, and anyone can read it without trusting a number this site prints.
Repair
A rig loses 500 of its 10,000 condition points every epoch, so an untouched rig runs exactly 20 epochs — 140 days — before it dies and earns nothing.
cost = price/notch × tier weight × notches
You are charged only for the notches actually applied, and repair is recurring — this is the sink that never finishes.
Combine
Five rigs of one tier burn into a single rig of the next, carrying 6× the weight of one — five rigs worth 5 become one worth 6. The 20% gained is the entire incentive.
cost = flat fee, burned
It is paid for twice: with the fee, and with four fewer rigs to keep repairing.
Upkeep scales with the rig
Tier weight sets both what a rig earns and what it costs to repair, so the biggest rigs are the biggest sink. Geometric in sixes.
| Tier | Weight | Repair cost | How you get one |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 1 | ×1 | Fabricated from Silicon. The only tier you can make directly. |
| 2 | 6 | ×6 | Five tier-1 rigs, combined. |
| 3 | 36 | ×36 | Five tier-2 rigs. |
| 4 | 216 | ×216 | Five tier-3 rigs. |
| 5 | 1,296 | ×1,296 | The top of the yard. Nothing combines past this. |
A tier-5 rig burns 1,296× a tier-1’s upkeep, every epoch, for as long as it is kept alive. The per-notch price is an on-chain parameter and is not fixed here.

What $IMG is not
Most token pages are vague here. This one is not, because every line below is a property enforced by the contract rather than a promise about intent.
Not the mining reward
Rigs earn $ORE, which is bought on Uniswap with a fixed share of launchpad revenue and is never minted. $IMG is what you spend to keep earning it — the two tokens sit on opposite sides of the machine.
Not an entry ticket
You cannot buy a rig with $IMG, or with anything else. Fabrication costs Silicon, and Silicon is only ever earned by paying trading fees on okei.fun. Holding $IMG gets you in nowhere.
Not a claim on revenue
No fee, no share of the pool and no buy-back is ever paid to an $IMG balance. Revenue flows to $ORE. Nothing flows to holding this.
Not required to trade
okei.fun works without ever touching $IMG. This is the upkeep token for a game attached to it, not a tax on the launchpad.
launch
Launching on DYOR
$IMG launches on DYOR, the main launchpad on Arc, so it is visible where people on this chain already look. Nothing is live yet — there is no contract address, no supply figure and no market, and this page will not show any of them until there are.
Anything claiming to be $IMG before this page shows an address is not $IMG.
